It is really a sad way to mark the first few days of January. The feeling of pain and distress was intense upon hearing of the senseless attempt on the life of Representative Gabrielle Giffords in Tucson. All victims of this event are instant heroes of American history, they were sacrificed for the advance of public health care and humane immigration laws.

The pictures of the two key public servants, Representative Giffords and Judge John M Roll, were recovered from the web and posted here as personal remembrance for all victims. There is no intent on copyright infringement, they will be withdrawn upon request. At the time of this posting Representative Giffords is expected to survive.

Let the real culprits of this senseless and murderous attempt on public servants and bystanders be brought to justice.
